I moved to a new city/county/state. Did my Medicare plan move with me?
You may need to re-enroll if you have moved to a new city, county or state. If you are in a Medicare Advantage Plan and you move outside your plan’s service area, you can choose to return to Original Medicare, or to switch to a new Medicare Advantage or Prescription Drug Plan.
If I move within my plan’s service area and am still covered, but there are new options available to me, what can I do?
If there are additional options that apply to you in your new area, you can enroll in a new Medicare Advantage Plan or Medicare Prescription Drug Plan within your enrollment window.

Are there any consequences if I sign up outside of my Initial Enrollment Period?
Generally speaking, you can sign up for Part A any time during or after your Initial Enrollment Period. In most cases, you will have to pay a late enrollment fee if you don’t sign up for Part B when you are eligible to do so. You also may have to pay higher premiums for Part A and/or Part B if you miss your enrollment window.
